Paris’s Hottest New Openings This Winter

Paris, the eternal city of lights, continues to dazzle with new concept-driven spaces that blend heritage, innovation, and exceptional experiences. This winter, explore the latest openings in hospitality, fashion, lifestyle, and dining, each offering a unique and immersive approach to the Parisian art de vivre.

Hospitality

Maison Barrière Vendôme – A Tribute to Iconic Women

Nestled between Place Vendôme and the Tuileries Gardens, Maison Barrière Vendôme redefines boutique hospitality as a poetic homage to feminine icons. With only 26 rooms, suites, and apartments, each space is dedicated to a remarkable woman—whether Sarah Bernhardt, Agatha Christie, or Alexandra David-Néel—brought to life through the refined lens of architect Daniel Jibert.

French craftsmanship shines throughout: Pierre Frey textiles, Lalique sconces, Atelier de Ricou frescoes, and Declercq trimmings blend into a luxurious narrative. The in-house restaurant immerses guests in the vibrant world of Frida Kahlo, whether in the opulent dining room or the verdant patio. Beneath the hotel, the Spa Diane Barrière invites serenity, cocooned beneath vaulted stone ceilings.

Hôtel Hana – A Parisian Ode to Japanese Aesthetics
Between the Opéra Garnier and La Bourse, Hôtel Hana offers a delicate fusion of Parisian vibrancy and Japanese minimalism. Its name, meaning “flower” in Japanese, sets the tone for an intimate 5-star experience. Designers Olivier Leone and Laura Gonzalez created an elegant sanctuary where maximalist Parisian influences meet the simplicity of Japanese design.

With only 25 rooms and 2 suites, each space is a refined cocoon filled with a harmonious blend of materials, textures, and feng shui principles. The result? A boutique hotel where guests feel equally at home in Tokyo or Paris.

Le Jardin de Verre by Locke – Parisian Elegance Meets Urban Edge
Locke’s design-led aparthotel concept lands in Paris’s Latin Quarter this winter, introducing Le Jardin de Verre. This hybrid space blends a 20th-century industrial factory with an 18th-century Parisian townhouse, offering 145 rooms across 11 categories, each reflecting the layered history of the site.

Floor-to-ceiling windows, dark oak floors, and industrial stainless-steel kitchens meet Haussmannian charm. Communal spaces include a triple-height atrium restaurant, coffee shop, cocktail bar, and lush courtyard, all designed by Fettle to maximize natural light and greenery. The result is a sophisticated urban retreat.
