About Me

I am Mathilde Duquesne, a blogger on my spare time… I found in myself a passion for concept stores, when I moved to Hamburg, Germany for three years. These particular shops where so present in this city, so I decided to meet and write about the story of the people behind these fabulous places.

Now located in Paris, working as a strategic planner in a shopper marketing agency, I need to get inspiration and insights from actual retail trends. My passion took another level and I wrote a thesis about concept store: “how does the emergence of concept stores reflect the transformation of retail?” (available in French only, but I am currently translating it in English).

The purpose of my blog is to help people who want to start their own business in a few years. My articles are based on interviews with brave entrepreneurs across Europe. I write to stir your curiosity and especially give you all the motivation it takes to embark on entrepreneurship.

I interview mostly independent boutiques committed to values that touch me. Entrepreneurs who highlight handmade, quality products and fair productions as well as responsible human values.

Good reading and lovely regards,

Mathilde Duquesne
